We have a beautiful male Moluccan Cockatoo that we need to rehome. He is a big boy, with a personality and voice to match! He is about 10 years old -not sure exactly. He has become very attached to me, and has been known to bite others if they get too close while I am giving him affection. He is also VERY loud. I do not recommend this bird for anyone who lives in a housing development or apartment. If you have some room around your house, and he can go outside for most of the day on his cage and scream and play -then this bird might be for you! He needs to be outside and scream every day to get his energy out. This is important. He is loud, and if you have other people nearby they will probably complain. He is also destructive if he gets off his cage. He will chew anything he can reach. But, if you can get over all of that, he is extremely loving, and just downright beautiful!
