Desi is a goregeous own daughter of Desperado V. She is great that Varian dark bay. She is a 1995 AHA registered sweepstakes nominated mare. Very well trained in hunt seat and dressage, easy head set, great trot...she will go as fast or slow as you ask for and makes sitting the trot super easy. Was also shown western pleasure for a few seasons and did really well, we just tend to ride english. She has done 4H gymkhana and showmanship. Has been out on the trails as well, and does super great in a group. She knows her whoa! very well so even the most timid rider can gain confidence. Desi has been used as a military parade and drill team mount as well and has even carried flags. Desi goes in just a regular snaffle bit, no harsh bits or tie downs, just a well trained horse. Desi is great for the farrier (she has some awesome feet, he usually only has to trim every 12 weeks), leads, ties, loads, is easy to give a bath. She is UTD on all shots, including west nile. She is for sale as our daughter no longer rides and my husband and I already have a horse. We would be open to a partial maybe even a full trades (tack, building supplies, flat bed trailer, llama, boer goats, even manual labor....our goal is a great home for Desi). We paid quite a bit for Desi several years ago but she paid for herself 10 times over by teaching several adults and many, many kids how to ride so again, a good home is a must and is our main goal. Thanks for looking! We have many, many more photos, just email!
