Moluccan Cockatoo Male -
I bought this male to set up my pet female from a friend who had him for several years. He is a proven male who lost his mate to kidney failure in 2007. He was never aggressive to his previous mate nor to my tame female. I put the pair together in August and after being together for several weeks, I finally pulled my female and brought her back inside. She was totally lost and wanted nothing to do with him. She stayed on the perch above the food bowl which is the perch closest to the house. Whenever we went out feed she would come down for me to pet her. I do have pictures of them together in the cage sitting on the same perch would be glad to provide them to you. He does tend to pluck his belly, he will allow them to grow back and then one day they are all gone. He is outside and is fully flighted. $700
