Lenny is the last puppy we have not spoken for out of a litter of 3 parti-color pups born on June 28th. His 2 smaller siblings left for their new homes on September 1st at over 9 weeks old, so he is ready to go to his new home NOW!
He weighs just over 5.5 lbs at 14 weeks old, so he is going to be a full sized toy poodle, he does have tons of nice curly soft hair that is of course non-shedding as well! He is in just a puppy clip, so if his hair is trimmed down he will look much smaller than he does now!
He just has tons of hair, like a nice big fluffy teddy bear or something! You can see his weight on the scales in some of the pictures, but you can also see how thick his hair is, and it has not been cut since birth, only brushed and bathed...so it is about 6 inches long or longer in some places! The first few pictures are of him today, and the last 2 are of him at only a few days old!

Lenny is the "thinker" of the litter, he prefers to sit back and watch before he joins in on the fun. He seems to have one of those strong yet silent type personality that is great for obedience training and generally making a nice calm companion! He is NOT timid at all, just not as rough and tumble as his siblings.
He has been raised in my home with my 3 young children and he is VERY VERY well socialized! He loves to "Help" me with bath time with my children by sleeping on the bathroom rug and supervising! He is a true poodle, and has been known to try to just jump into a tub of water, he adores taking a bath and has been like that from a very young age! He was raised in a human baby playpen with his siblings and mother until he was 6 weeks old then they all had the run of the house after that!
He runs up and down the stairs with ease, loves to fetch a ball or lay and watch the big screen tv with you, just a perfect little fellow for any family! He adores my children and does not nip or growl, and he even knows to leave their cups alone if dropped on the floor. He is very smart and well behaved, and would be okay to go into a home with even the youngest of children as he is calm and sturdy, not timid and fragile at all! he is 100% potty pad trained, and sleeps with us at night...if we don't make it outside with him in time he will go potty on the pad left by the back door. He is not used to being crated, but is okay with being left in the kitchen with a baby gate up to keep him safe while his family is away for a few hours. I think he would be fine in a family with 2 working parents, but he would probably like to be let outside to potty every 4 hours or so until he is used to a routine! He is used to going out to go potty in our fenced in back yard while supervised...he is not a digger, it is just for his safety since he is a puppy! He does understand the command "go potty" and if given a potty pad if left alone is fine in the house.
He is not a chewer, as long as he is provided with chew toys I think his new family would not have to worry about their shoes or anything like that! He does like to play with the toys he has here so if he has some in his new home that will help to keep him happy and busy!
Lenny's mother is white with cream parti-color and the father is black with cream phantom marked. I am offering him on pet contract for $350, but he must be neutered by 7 months old. He can come with full breeding rights for only $450 to a great home where he is not wanted ONLY for breeding, but he is factored for parti-color and phantom so he would make a great little foundation male in a very small breeding home like mine.
He will come with 2-3 sets of vaccines and also wormed 1-2 times as well.
I think he will be in the 6.6 lb range as an adult, but perhaps as small as 6 lbs. He weighed 6 oz when he was born but I will be able to give a more accurate estimate of his adult weight the older he gets...he started eating canned dog food at 3 weeks old so he might grow very fast then slow down dramatically in a few weeks.
Feel free to contact me for more info about him! I have tons of pictures!
We are in Elwood, IN 46036! We will deliver for an additional $.55 per mile but prefer you to come pick your puppy up here at our home.
I have decided I will ship him, but with crate and other expenses it will be $600 added to his price, and he can be shipped from Indianapolis Airport to most other major airports for this price.
Please contact me to make sure this is the price to YOUR local major airport because some are more expensive than others and I have to double check this before I ship. He must be paid for in full BEFORE I will ship him, and of course I will only accept payment from a home with an APPROVED puppy application. I will only ship within the United States, sorry!
At 14 weeks old he has been wormed 2 times, had his first 5-way puppy vaccine AND his intra-nasal vaccine against the Bordetella virus which is required by most groomers and trainers before they will allow a dog into their facility.
He was treated with Advantage on Sept 14th, 2009 and will be treated with that every 4 weeks for fleas while he is at my home.
He is ready to go NOW since he is the largest puppy of the litter. His 2 smaller siblings are staying a bit longer then he needs to, so he is ready for his new home now.
I will ship him if needed for an extra $600 to most major airports and the $600 will include his crate and all other expenses, and you may contact me for other information on shipping or Lenny or my poodles in general if you like!
