Dear Prospective Volunteer,
On Tuesday, November 17th we will be at the London Convention Centre with an exciting new lineup of speakers. The Power Within Management Team is recruiting professional and enthusiastic volunteers for this event. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to hear influential and inspiring speakers and authors.
You must be able to commit to the times required:
Monday November 16th from 6:00 PM 9:00 PM for an important volunteer orientation. This session is mandatory for all volunteers.
Tuesday November 17th from 6:15 AM 6:30 PM for the event day

Volunteer Positions
Ticket Takers
Located at the main doors to the event room, you will be responsible for making sure that all purchased tickets are taken and accounted for.
Greeters
You will be the first group of people to greet the guests entering the venue.
Direct guests to various locations (seats, washrooms, telephones, etc.).
Act as crowd control, security, and floater (see description below) as required.
Will Call - Volunteer Services
You will be at the check-in desk to assist the Power Within Staff as attendees pick up their tickets if they have not received them in the mail.
Ushers
You will be responsible for directing each guest to a seat once inside the main event room. Seats are not numbered and guests are seated on a first come first seated basis.
You will be asked to guide late comers to their seats at appropriate breaks during the event.
VIP Escorts
You will assist in the movement of VIP Ticket Holders and Speakers throughout the day.
Backstage Handlers/ Stage Ushers
Assist in the behind the scenes activity of the event.
Assist in the smooth flow of ushering people on and off the stage.
Assist in obtaining refreshments for the presenters.
Floaters / Runners
Assist in a variety of areas at the event as required.
You may be asked to act as special escorts for any guests with disabilities.
Product Sales
You will be requested to assist with the selling of Power Within and Speakers merchandise throughout the day. These positions will be rotated among those selected for this area.
There will be a lead product sales person at the product area.
Please note: You may be called upon to take on other positions during the event if required.
