I am offering piano lessons for $10.00 a half an hour. I have been teaching for about 5 years. I myself have taken piano lessons for many year (around 9-10) and really enjoy playing. I not only teach you how to play the piano, but also technique, style, theory, and sight reading among many other things. The books and music used depends on the students interests and learning ability. I have had a wide variety of students that range from very young to adults. Lesson books and any sheet music is to be paid for by the student and is theirs to keep. We have two recitals throughout the piano year that are not mandatory, but a lot of fun. We have a relaxed Christmas one and one in the Spring that is more formal. It is encouraged that students that the students participate, but again, not mandatory.
Also, depending on where you live, I would be willing to travel to your home and teach, though I would charge for the gas money so the price would be slightly higher.
