I have a litter of Hedgehogs that have just been weaned and will need to find loving homes. They were born on July 22nd. There are two females and four males in the litter. I'm rehoming the babies to the right caretaker for $150 each. I also have two juvenile female hedgehogs that were born on March 17th which still need loving homes. I'm asking $100 for these girls. For both litters, the prices include a supply of food mix, birth certificate, care guide, and health guarantee.

As exotic animals, hedgehogs need special care. For example, they are insectivores, and will need bugs in their diet. They are also nocturnal animals, and will be up while you are asleep. And the quills that armor their body are sharp and can hurt (though a tame, well-cared-for hedgehog will lay them flat and never poke you with them). If the thought of feeding creepy-crawly insects, the patter of little feet scampering around a wheel at 3AM, or an accidental poking doesn’t sit well with you, I’d advise not getting a pet hedgehog.

Hedgehogs are a unique pet, and while they aren't for everyone, if you find yourself truly wanting one, the little bit of extra effort needed to keep them properly cared for seems more than worth it. Their adorably busy noses poking out from their balled up bodies are guaranteed to make you melt every time. If their special needs haven't deterred you and you still have your heart set on a hedgehog, please shoot me an email. I’d be more than happy to discuss their care at length. The babies can't wait to meet you!

*Note: All of my hedgehogs will be sold to carefully chosen homes as pets only. Please, no breeder or dealer inquiries. I cannot ship the babies; however, I will consider delivery within NJ and parts of NY if compensated.

Pictures of each hedgehog are available upon request, though admittedly they all look very much the same. They are all Algerian Grey (cream quills with black banding, dark brown face mask, white underbelly, and fairly mottled feet.) Each hedgehog, however, is unique in their personality, so the best way to find the perfect match is to meet them in person.
