Aleph Lamed Dalet - For Protection Against The evil Eye
The Hamsa amulet on this necklace is inscribed with the Hebrew letters Aleph Lamed Dalet, which is one of the 72 sacred names of God. In Kabbalah it is believed that this three letter combination, known as 'Looks can kill', can be used for protection against the Evil Eye.
Hamsa - For Protection against the Evil Eye - The Hamsa Hand is one of the original protective signs. It is believed that the one who wears it or hangs it in his house, will be protected from the Evil Eye and it will bring positive energy, happiness, prosperity and health. The Hamsa (root means "five") symbolizes the Creator's protective hand.
Star of David - The Star of David, a six-sided star or hexagram is known among Jews today as Magen David. This symbol, of two interlacing triangles was originally the secret symbol of the stargazing priests, later adopted by the Israelite Kings David and Solomon and subsequently by the Hebrew people as a whole.
