I have a 3 year old Male Blue Crown Conure for sale, along with his Night cage ( large cockatiel cage ) Day time cage ( 2 feet deep, 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall and collapses down for easy moving ) and all toys, food, vitamins. etc. along with a Manzanita Tree Branch stand with wheeled base. Skye is a very sweet boy. He is VERY much a Mommas boy! He does speak, but it is not a clear voice. He says, What?, Momma, Bad Bird, BucketHead, Good Boy, I Am a Good Boy, Skye is a Good Boy and is learning more every day.
He eats large hookbill seeds along with Zupreem fruit flavored pellets. He will also eat nearly anything on your plate if you allow him to. He should NEVER have caffeine or chocolate!
My elderly grandmother recently had to move in with us and she is terrified of birds. Because of that, he has not been able to be with the family, as he is used to. He needs a family where he can be part of the family, not just a pretty bird in a cage.
He is used to being around small dogs and cats, and loves to roam around the house. He is also used to young children, but should NEVER be allowed to be unsupervised. He does not know how to fly, as I have always kept his wings short due to having ceiling fans in my house. He loves to play on his tree stand and climb down and walk around then will climb back up to eat or play with other toys. His main entertainment is being with YOU. He will sit on your shoulder and play with you as long as you allow him to. He is a very sweet little guy, and I am going to miss him terribly.
