Our chinchillas are in search of a loving family to call their own. Each chinchilla goes home with a month supply of food, dust, hay, etc. All you need to supply is the cage, bedding, water bottle and unconditional love. $25 discount for same-gender pairs.
Currently available chinchillas:
Angus - Hefty grey male, 4yrs. Adores people & attention, does well with older children, tolerates other pets. However, does not get along well with other chinchillas.
Milo - Black velvet male, 1yr old. A bit shy at first, but adjusts very well to new surroundings. Prefers the company of other chinchillas. Currently housed with Piper & Twinkles.
Piper - Large grey male, approx 2yrs. Very outgoing fella, loves people & loves other chinchillas. Doesnt mind children or household pets, gets along well with everyone. Currently housed with Milo & Twinkles.
Twinkles - Show quality dark grey male, 2yrs. Awesome coat, crisp white belly, big loving eyes. Knows his name, enjoys out-of-cage play times. Happy friendly lil guy. Doesnt mind other chinchillas, but also happy being an only pet. Currently housed with Milo & Piper.
Milky & Silky - Standard grey brothers, 2yrs. Well cared for in their previous home, but not enough time for the attention they deserved. These boys would appreciate a family to spoil them rotten. They'd require a large cage & a chinchilla-specific exercise wheel (such as 15" ChinSpin or Saucer). Prefer they stay together if possible.
Rosalita & Muffin - Standard female, Beige female. Rosie is approx 4yrs old, Muffin is 6yrs old. Rosalita had been housed with a lionhead bunny in a small cramped cage, in a horse barn for 3 years of her life. She came here very shy & withdrawn until she met Muffin. Rosie is now very outgoing and has been to educational demo's with us to show what great pets chinchillas can be. Muffin is a retired breeder who barely survived a bordetella infection in Spring 2008. She gets along well with other female chins, but I prefer she be kept with Rosie.
