Syndi is a 7 year old spayed female red pomeranian. She is up to date of vaccines. She weighs about 12lbs.

We inherited her when my grandfather passed away this past easter, and my grandmother moved in with my parents. We have made great strides with her training, she had been unhousebroken and very hyper. She is now much calmer, but like most small dogs she is very active and loves attention and affection. She is doing very well with her housetraining, and lets us know when she needs to go out. She loves to be outside, but when indoors want to be a lap dog. She is a clown, pawing at your arms and chest to get your attention as she sits beside you until you hold her and she melts herself into you. She is almost constantly moving if you don't pay attention to her. And will talk to you if you try to ignore her. She dose not beg or whine for food while you are eating, as my grandparents never feed her table scraps. But she will do a few tricks for treats.

She can be vocal, but not yappy. And loves to remind you when it's time to feed her.

She is not overweight, but will eat anything and everything you give her. She has no food aggression problems, you can take anything from her.

She loves cats, and rough houses with ours. Our kitten pounces on her from the side of the sofa. She gets along with all dogs, both large(like our own), and small(she lived with a toy poodle until he passed away a couple years ago).

She is very outgoing, and greets everyone who comes into the house. Has some exposure to small children and babies and behaves very well.

We have kept her coat trimmed short since she was young, so she is low maintainence with grooming. Our vet has instructed us to feed her a high protein diet as her hair thins over her hindquarters on a low protein diet. So we are currently feeding her Before Grain-Buffalo, but any feed with 32+ protein should be good.

While we would love to keep her, we just really aren't small dog people. And did not intend to have this many dogs. With our busy schedules we feel she would do better in a home with someone who could give her more attention and time as she was used to.

If you think Syndi would be a good addition to your family and would like to meet her please send us some information about you. We would love to meet you and get to know you better. We do ask that you let us know which vet your use, and get him/her to write something about your pet history. We want to make sure she is properly taken care, and that should she need medical attention she will receive it. Also if you do not own your home, we will need some proof that you are permitted to have dogs at your residence. We don't want her to get attached to you only to find out that your landlord wants gone.

We will require a signed contract stating that if for any reason you can not keep her, at any time, she be given back to us. She has been a beloved member of our family for many years, and we want whats best for her and to know who she is with and where she is.

We would also like to keep in contact with her new family, the occasional update and pictures. So we know she is okay and happy.

To make sure she's comfy she'll be bringing her new doggy bed, her crate, leash and food dishes. And any food we have left for her, as well as her vaccine history packet.
