20 year old Appaloosa/Arab mare. Between 15 - 15.1HH. Current on coggins and hoof trimming. Broke to ride for an experienced rider. She has only ever been ridden with a hackamore, and will come with one. She leads, loads, picks up feet, stands to be brushed. She loves treats! She respects fences. She has been used for barrel racing and pole bending. She is a more dominate horse in the pasture. She really only has one bad habit and that is she gets kinda cranky when you saddle her up, teeth grinding and a little head tossing, nothing that I consider to serious. The only reason why we are looking to find her a new home is because she is very pushy/bossy with our yearling (Who is on the smaller side, due to her previous owners and lack of good care). We feel it would be best for both horses if we found her a new home. She would do best with horses her size that can "push" back if needed. She is a very beautiful horse, and is super friendly, and will "talk" to you when come to the barn for morning feedings. We are going to be very sadden to see her go as we are all very attached to her. We would consider trading her for a less dominate broke to ride gelding/mare or a nice little yearling/two year old so that our little one isn't alone as she likes her friend but her friend just isn't to fond of her. An EXCELLENT home is a MUST for her, as I will not except anything but that for her.
