We’re looking to rent a mobile home or bungalow, in the Palmerston area, that we could use as a shooting location for a day. We can pay $300 for the rental. We’d need to have access from early morning until well into the night, though we may not need it for quite that long.
Ideally we'd love to find something that is a little on the older side - something with a 50's decor. The scene involves an elderly lady and presumably she's not been able to maintain the property particularly well, but we can also 'dress' the property to make it look like it's older if we find something suitable. In the script, the location is described as "A small bungalow, actually a mobile home that gave its axle to the war effort during WWII. It is so firmly rooted it’s almost indistinguishable from a house."
