Vintage Crocheted Lace Top Sheet and 2 Pillow Cases Scalloped Edging
A friend found these tucked away in her very elderly mom’s attic cedar chest. There is a fancy thick crocheted edged top sheet and 1 pair of matching pillow cases. Measures ~81” in width by ~90” length. Pillow cases are standard size. I believe this is a twin set. The edges are crocheted in a creamy color. The lace not only runs across the top edge of the sheet but extends up the side a good foot or so. The lace is a heavier weight. The set has no tears or usage stains. Set is yellowed with age. A very few brown spots that will wash out. { from storage over 50 yrs!}. These should wash beautifully. My favorite of the sets we found. My friends mom says this set was not used just stored away {was a wedding gift}. I believe it is most likely a cream set but could be white. The set feels like a good thread count, and is soft to the touch...This set has not been washed by me, and is in excellent condition.
