this is a beautiful bird. she is a blue & gold macaw. she is very tame and has a large vocabulary. she learns new words very fast. if she likes you she will stand on your arm or shoulder. but like anything else, it may take awhile for her to get use to you for this to happen. as far as i know, she is approx. 5 years old.
when we bought her we were told she was a female and was just under 2 years old. we have had her around 3 years. if you like birds, and enjoy talking to them and have them talk back, then this bird is for you. she really is very smart. i am asking $1500.00 for her this includes the cage she is in. if interested you can contact me at (606)598-6866 or e-mail me here.
