Lady is a beautiful gentle giant! She is around 34" tall and weighs around 117 pounds and could stand to put on about 10 more pounds. I was told she was only 3 years old but after researching her name through akc found our she is going to be 5 years old in November 2009. She is great with dogs small and large, and also good with children although because of her size believe she would be better with older kids. She is completly housetrained and does not need to be kenneled. She is utd on all shots and just had her 3 year rabies yesterday. I bought her from a lady that had advertised her as akc can be bred, once we went to her home I knew I wasnt leaving without her whether I got her papers or not she was chained up to a fence outside with 4 ft of room to move with no water or food she has done wonderful gaining weight the last 2 weeks Ive had her, she also had told me that she would mail me the papers as soon as she had found them in which I went back down to get them and she had stated she never got them, she did know her registered name so I do have her birth date and pedigree, I am waiting for her papers from AKC but I will not be selling her with them as I do not believe in breeding female great danes after 4 years old. she has got a clean bill of health from the vet on Friday Oct. 30, 2009. She was dewormed by the vet and given her 3 years rabies shot. She is truely a sweet heart and deserves a nice warm home to retire in, I believe she has had only one litter of pups and it was on her first heat which I also dont believe in. I will have a contract in place that she will be spayed within one month of being placed in new home and if for anyreason she can no longer stay at that home that she will be returned to me. We have a housefull of wonderful pets and believe being an older female that she deserves the wonderful retired life! she loves to ride in the car, can sit, shake, and lie down.
