I have a 1 1/2 year old Quaker and recently took in another Quaker. Having the two birds is not working out and I need to find a new home for the new bird.
The bird is 20 years old, healthy and in good feather. He says several things. He is still adjusting to his new home so I have not been handling him. Previous owner says he stepped up and could be handled easily. She said he spent most of every day outside his cage. I was told he is potty trained. When put on the perch and told to go potty he will. I haven't tried that yet but have observed he always goes potty from one perch so.....
He will come with a cage and his toys and some food.
I want him to go to a permanent home with Quaker experience and knows how much of a commitment you have to make to a Quaker. I will ask for a reference from an avian vet.
If interested send an email with your phone number and some information about the home you can provide for this bird and I will call you.
