My Scentsy Experience

I'm an Army wife of 14 years, and have 2 sons who are 19 and 13. I always wished there was a way to have a great smelling home without the flame of a candle. At the beginning of 2009, my sister-in-law told me about Scentsy. At that time, my life was very busy, as you all can relate, and I just couldn't commit to starting a new business. Then in June of that year, she sent out another e-mail asking me if I wanted to become a consultant, or knew of anyone who might be interested. I started to think about it again, and after looking at the catalog, my interest was sparked! How you run your Scentsy business is up to you. Some want it as a part time job and meet new people, and others want to work on building their business and team, to make it a full time career. There are consultants who are successful doing both, it's all a matter of personal choice. There is no average as far as how much a consultant makes. Those who join as more of a hobby or to get a discount will earn a smaller commission than those who join to work to build their business and team toward a full time career. I can speak from experience that if you work hard and have confidence in what you do, you can be successful with Scentsy! There are some people who want to earn enough to maybe pay a bill or their car payment, while others know they want to make this a full time business. The bottom line is, you get to decide! As a Scentsy consultant, I not only get to have fun with what I do, I am selling a product I truly believe in and use everyday.
