Did you know that if a female ferret goes into heat she will not come out of heat until she's bred? If she's not bred she can die of anemia
Did you know that male ferret's must also go into season (a type of heat) in order to want to breed?
so you need at least two unneutered two males in case one isn't ready to breed when the female is. Unneutered males are quite smelly and aggressive and have been known to kill other ferrets while in season including females
You will also NEED other males with only a vasectomy in case you don't want your female pregnant this time around. But then after breeding with the vasectomized male she'll go through a false pregnancy
Ferret's don't make good mothers and often lose kits unless you are willing to hand feed them. That's if you don't lose the ferret in the birthing process.
Breeding ferrets can be heart breaking and it’s an expensive process it’s not a money making endeavor, you will likely lose money rather then make money. If you are thinking about breeding and you didn’t know this then you should NOT breed you should do a lot more research on you little ferret frinds
