The best way to determine the temperament of a Malti-Poo is to look up both the Maltese and the Toy Poodle and know you can get any combination of both breeds. The Malti-Poo is very intelligent and is usually good with other dogs and non-canine pets. They can be reserved and aloof with strangers and do best with older considerate children.
Malti-Poos have wider spead gene pools, which usually result in a healthier dog.
Malti-Poos are good for apartment life. They are fairly active indoors and will do okay without a yard.
