1943, Union Pacific engine #3985 is the largest operating steam locomotive in
the world. Nicknamed "Challenger", this 4-6-6-4 powerhouse shows its stuff in
Challenger 3985, the big-steam video bonanza chronicling 3985’s trek through
Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas. You’ll visit
the Cheyenne Steam Shop where Challenger is maintained using the roundhouse’s
historic equipment, and hop aboard 3985 as she rides the rails on excursions and
convention trips throughout the Midwest, proving that, for rail buffs, big steam
