How does professional home staging help to sell my house in Houston?
People buy with emotion. Buyers can’t look past unorganized rooms, clutter, or furnishings that don’t match their taste-OR visualize how to arrange furniture in a vacant house! Real estate staging neutralizes the décor so that the home appeals to many buyers. Professional house staging uses “emotional connect point” techniques so that buyers do not have to use their own imaginations, but can immediately feel at home.
Will I have to buy new furnishings?
The stager or redesigner will use items from the home, but may have recommendations for a few small purchases such as new bedding, towels, small artwork or greenery from affordable retailers. Shopping services are offered if needed, and any new items stay with the homeowner to be used at the next house. The decision is always up to YOU.
Will I have to repaint or do other home improvements?
A proposal will be provided which will prioritize suggested improvements, so that YOU can decide where and how to spend your budgeted dollars. The goal is minimal expense.
Should I hire a stager only if my home has difficulty selling?
The first impression is the key factor in selling any home in any price range! Buyers get excited when they see a new property go onto the internet or a sign go up in the yard, so the BEST time to stage is before listing the home and taking those photos. However, if the house is not selling- ACT QUICKLY to get the home staged before it sits on the market any longer! New internet photos can always be submitted after house staging. Use home staging before reducing the price!
What about vacant house staging?
A cost plan will be provided with recommendations, including renting some furnishings from a furniture rental company. It does not take a house full of decorations to make the buyer feel at home, just some key staging items.
