4/4 Robert Doetsch (German) cello, purchased new in 2003. Very sweet, round sound. When I bought this instrument I tried it against several cellos costing $10,000 and this one beat them out for tone and ease of playability! New strings (kaplan & helicore). Very attractive antique style oil varnish - the deluxe of Robert Doetsch. Asking $5500 Canadian (which is what I purchased it for w/out the strings)
