Are you confident that your reptile or amphibian is going to the best possible home?
If you are no longer able to care for your reptile and are considering adoption, we can advertise extensively and a comprehensive application process is in place to ensure that your reptile or amphibian finds the best possible home. Our team is specifically trained in reptile husbandry and rehabilitation with many years experience. We can provide exceptional care for your fostered reptiles until a permanent home is found. Our services are volunteer and completely free of charge, however we would request that the enclosure and supplies accompany the reptile to their new home if possible.
Our members have a wide variety of experience and expertise regarding lizards, tegus, monitors, snakes, frogs, toads, turtles, tortoises, and geckoes. We have access to appropriate veterinary care and a Registered Veterinary Technician is available to assist as required.
The Ssafe Haven Society for Reptiles and Amphibians is a registered non-profit organization that provides rescue, shelter and adoption services for reptiles and amphibians in Nova Scotia.
