2 female ferrets, both spayed & descented.
just turned 4 years old.
1 longer-haired dark sable colored with black nose,
1 small size cinnamon colored.
1 Large 2ft x 2ft x 4ft cage with rolling wooden stand, it has a
pull out tray under it for easy cleaning. + some bedding, hammocks,
toys, litter box, food dish, water bottle, some Innova Evo food, small carrier. or for $30 more, i will give you a larger nicer carrier better equipt for travel.
These two girls are a bonded pair, i cannot & will not seporate
them. they could mourn & die if sepporated.
they are updated on their shots until May 2008. then they will be
due for rabies & distemper vaccines/ vet check up. coppies of vet
records available.
Adults only please. Ferrets are not pets FOR children. these two
will be okay with children under supervision but the ferrets must be
the ADULT'S responsibility to ensure propper care & attention.
*Ferret experience is a must.* or no sale. Ferrets need atleast 3
consecutive hours of play time every day, daily litter scooping, daily changing of water & food. Plus a high quality diet. Innova Evo ferretfood or the dog or cat food by Innova Evo is truely the best kibble. the cinnamon one has a skin alergy, but she does not have it if she eats this food. it can be bought at Complete Petmart & many healthfood stores. there is great responsibility involved.
i will not ship them. they are pick up in Dayton, OH. Cash only. you
will also need a pick up truck or van or something for the cage
because it does not collapse. again, it is 2 by 2 by 4 feet.
They are both wonderful & sweet, playful girls, i only wish i could
keep them. But it just isn't fair to the ferret i have already had who does not like them. it is putting stress on her. i've given them 2years to learn to get along, & it just isnt going to happen. mine wants to be the one & only. so i must give them up.
i took them as a favor to a friend who was dying at the time, so i
hope & pray the home i find will be as loving as can possibly be, bothgirls are rescues & were abused horribly before she or i had them.
These two get along with all the dogs they've met so far, & almost
all other ferrets (it's my one who tries to fight with them, not the
other way around) they seem to be the type that would get along with
cats too or any other pets. they even get along with my duck.
they do not bite or bite feet, & only play-bite gently. they are
potty trained & use a litterbox with scoopable litter, this is okay
for them because they do not have bad habbits like digging in or
burrowing in the litter where they may breathe it in. they also like
to potty on puppy pads or those blue disposable medical under pads,
which is great for travel.
the sable one beautiful, soft & cuddley, the cinnamon one is spunkey
& fun. they are a perfect pair & will bring lots of joy & love to your home & family.
*Also, if something should happen down the road & you cannot keep
them, i would prefer you contact me & i will take them back in.
