The Employer is a fully integrated Design/Build and Project Management Consulting Engineering firm specializing in Industrial, Commercial and Institutional buildings and projects.
Located in South-Western Ontario
Job Description
* Complete heating, cooling and piping calculations and design of mechanical systems for building projects
* Complete layout of plumbing, piping and duct work through complex facilities integrating multiple mechanical spaces and systems
* Co-ordinate mechanical systems installation requirements with other design disciplines
* Prepare specifications to supplement drawings in project bid packages
* Management responsibilities include: proposal preparation, technical supervision, development of design, inspection and commissioning of projects
Requirements:
* Experience in a consulting engineering environment
* Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
* Licensed member of PEO
* Minimum 5 years experience in the design of institutional, commercial and industrial projects
* Excellent knowledge of Canadian and other relevant codes and standards (i.e. OBC, ASHRAE, NFPA)
* Excellent management and supervisory skills are required for the development and coaching of team members
