Just wanted to let everyone out there know i run a small rescue group with my family. My mother works at a petstore so we get donations all the time and unwanted pets people drop off there as well.
We take in any type of small animals such as rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, turtles, and lizards.
I wont lie to you we do not know much about snakes thats why we wont take them in,we have been doing research on them but not yet ready to take the responsabilty of takeing care of them since we dont know much about them.
My mother has rescued animals for about 8 years now and me for 5 years now.
We have also rescued cats before as well. We have delt with a total of 12 litters of kittens and all of them were either adopted or tookin to a adoption program and adopted out there. We have only adopted out 3 puppies that were saved from a horrible situation.
We do ask adoption fees but thats just to make sure we have more supplies and stuff to bring in more animals. The fees are never too expensive.
