This landscape painting is an image of a tree hit by lightening. The heavy limb of the tree falls into a small empty space in the woods. The limb and ground show the hot summer sun. I saw the tree as I was walking through Elora Gorge. It is acrylic on canvas mounted on mat board. It is 30.6 by 20.4 cm (12 by 8 inches). My paintings have received awards & citations.
