We have up for sale Japanese Silkie Batams. Ages range for the chicks 3 weeks to 1 week, adults were hatched in Sept and Nov of 07. The chicks are straight run, I cannot tell hen from roo at this age, so no gaurentees on sex. The adults I have are 4 nice looking roos and 2 hens that are non bearded "pet quality"!
My birds are bearded & have have foot feathering and have all 5 toes. 98% of them have vaulted skulls and all have huge crests.
I raise only Blue, Splash, & Black. I do have a Lavender Roo so half of the chicks will carry that gene. Later in the year I hope to sell some full Lavender, but none are available right now.
My Lavender hatch rate is 2 out of 17 chicks, and I am improving on that.
Eggs are also Available. Our feritlity is 100% in our eggs and hatch rate is 95% here. We cannot gaurentee your hatch rate because of things out of our control like the postal service handling, x-rays, and the weather (box gets too hot).
Shipping may not be available due to weather (too hot). A new shipping box is $10 plus the price to ship to you. I can only put 1-2 per box so as not to overheat the birds. Shipping generally runs $45-55 plus box for 1-2 birds. And around $70 for 3-4 birds. I can put several chicks in 1 box to save on shipping them.
