The standard door chain can easily be ripped off the frame of your door. Normal dead bolt locks only send a bolt into the frame of the door. What makes this product unique is that when you lock your door, not only do you bolt the door frame, but you also send a steel bar into your floor.
This unique system has 3 locking positions. One position allows you to partially open the door to see who is on the other side. If this is an intruder, you can safely leave the door in this position and call for help.
Ideal for all persons who presently have a dead bolt lock on their main, side and/or back doors.
This door locking system works with both left and right hand opening doors.
