My mother and father live in an assisted living facility. They had a miniature
Schnauzer with them named Fritz. Fritz gave my mother a reason to get up in the
morning, and a reason to smile and laugh every day. My mother suffers from
Alzheimer's, and caring for the dog was the one constant in her life.
Fritz
died suddenly of stomach cancer last week. We are looking for an adult dog to
replace him, preferably one who has lived with an elderly couple before and is
used to the sedentary lifestyle. We would prefer a Schnauzer, but will consider
