6' Yamaha Grand Piano for sale, family is moving to the east coast and wants to
ensure the piano has a nice home in Indiana before making such a large move.
This piano was made in 1981 in Hamamatsu, Japan and it is a G3 E3300639 series.
*includes a humidifier/dehumidifier that has been extremely well maintained *una
corda and damper pedal, this series does not have a sostenuto pedal *top opens
in 2 different heights and music rack comes off for formal performances *keys
are in perfect condition (sorry, not ivory keys) *includes black leather
adjustable piano bench that tilts, raises and lowers (does not store music!)
*includes a custom black canvas cover to protect from dust when not in use
*black ebony body with gold accents *piano is on rollers so can be easily moved
on a hard surface *this piano plays beautifully, the keys were weighted very
similar to the way Steinways are set up. The feel is not too heavy, but not too
light so it makes practicing very long hours perfect to prepare for
concerts
Everything on this piano has been extremely well maintained and it
still looks brand new. I honestly thought it was at least 10-15 years newer than
what Yamaha said based on the serial number. The humidifier/dehumidifier system
works like a dream, you do have to keep water in it when the light starts
blinking and the soundboard is in perfect condition. There are no scratches at
all anywhere on the finish and it has a gorgeous sound when the top is closed,
or even open all the way. I have about 30 different pictures and views of the
piano and everything it comes with and will be more than happy to share. I know
it's extremely hard to describe a piano unless you play it for yourself but
please if you are seriously interested we'll be more than happy to have anyone
come over and play on it as long as needed.
