I am trying to find new homes for my
five great cats.
I know you are wondering, "If they are so great, why are you
getting rid of them?"
Well the answer is simple, and not so simple.
I am
pregnant with my second child, and I do not believe I will be able to adequately
care for my expanding family and 5 active cats.
Keeping up with the grooming,
and the cost of food is difficult to manage now, and I can only see it getting
worse.
And now you're wondering, "If you can't handle them, why did you get
five??"
Well, I got them from a friend, and I was initially going to just take
one, but the owner said she was having trouble finding homes for them all.
So I
figured I would take all three since I was single and missed my old cat.
So,
me and my three cats lived happily together for quite a while, but I
unfortunately did not get them spayed or neutered...
So then I had six cats! A
friend of mine wanted one of the kittens, but I was unable to find homes I
trusted for the other two kittens.
So that brings us to my current situation;
I would like to find new homes for my cats with people that care and love
animals.
The cats I would like you to meet are Lootla, Rocky, Dooda, Black,
and Orange.
Lootla
======
Lootla is a mainly black 5 year old FEMALE
calico.
She has been spayed, has a tattoo (naughty girl I know) and has a
beautiful face.
She is a very mellow cat, and prefers to lounge around all
day, but a laser pointer can still get her up and running.
She is very
affectionate and loves to sit on your lap or lie beside you in bed.
Lootla
would probably prefer to live with her son Black or in a house WITHOUT other
cats (except her family) and has never seen a dog, so I am unsure how she would
act around one
Lootla has never been outdoors, and is an inside
cat.
Rocky
=====
Rocky is an all black, MALE 5 year old long haired
cat.
He has been neutered, and has a tattoo and a microchip.
He has a lifetime
membership at petlynx.com in case he is lost.
He is a playful guy, and likes
to chase lasers, toy mice, birds, and his brother Dooda.
He is affectionate,
and will take whatever attention you give him, but at the end of the day he is
not overly bothersome, and would probably rather sleep in the corner than on
your lap.
Rocky would probably strongly prefer to live with his brother
Dooda, or maybe his friend Orange. He is OK with friendly dogs, and gets along
well with other (friendly) cats.
Rocky has lived on an acreage where he was let
during the day and brought in at night, so he is OK with being
outdoors.
Dooda
=====
Dooda is an all black, MALE 5 year old long haired
cat.
He has been neutered, and has a tattoo and a microchip.
He has a lifetime
membership at petlynx.com in case he is lost.
Dooda is VERY affectionate and
will sneak into your lap any chance he gets. In fact, he is the only cat I have
met that will actually stand on his hind legs, wrap his front paws around your
neck and HUG you! (seriously)
He is playful at times, but usually lays around
waiting to get some love from people.
Dooda would probably strongly prefer to
live with his brother Rocky. He is OK with friendly dogs, and gets along well
with other (friendly) cats.
Dooda has lived on an acreage where he was let
during the day and brought in at night, so he is OK with being
outdoors.
Black
=====
Black is a black, MALE 4 year old medium haired cat
with a white bib and white paws.
He has been neutered, and has a
tattoo.
Black's real name is Gizmo, but with him and his brother Orange
around, it seems more like they would prefer to be called Black and Orange.
He
is a very vocal cat and might even be a musical genius. He will chirp and mew
for food, for attention, and for no reason at all.
He is not noisy by any
means, but if it's supper time he will definitely let you know.
He likes to
play with Orange, or get love from his mom Lootla.
Black would probably
prefer to live with his mom Lootla, or his brother Orange. I think he would do
OK in a house with other cats, but he has never seen a dog so I am not sure how
he would react.
Black has never been outdoors, and is an inside
cat.
Orange
======
Orange is... orange! (Surprising I know). He is a
medium haired, 4 year old MALE with a white bib and paws.
He has been neutered
and has a tattoo and a cute, smiling face.
Orange's real name is Princess
Lucky Butterscotch (courtesy of my niece).
He is very affectionate, which is a
good thing, since his soft fur makes you want to pet him a lot.
He loves to
play with lasers, toy mice, balls, and pretty much anything.
He has a great
attitude and will let you pet him all day, or will stay within petting range if
you're not in the mood right now.
Black would probably prefer to live with
his brother Orange. I think he would do OK in a house with other cats, but he
has never seen a dog so I am not sure how he would react.
Orange has never been
outdoors, and is an inside cat.
So there they are - my five good cats
that I would like (need) to give you.
PRICE
=====
I am asking for $10 per
cat, or $20 for two or more.
Now maybe you are wondering - why would I pay you
$10 for a cat when there are dozens of others here for free?
Well I am glad
you asked!
The reason I am asking $10 for these cats is because I am hoping to
get responses from a) serious people only, and b) responsible people who are
committed to taking care of these cats and giving them the love and attention
they have been getting for the last few years.
With your $10 I will buy a bag
of IAMS Indoor cat food, so you have something to start with, or something to
mix with the food of your choice so they don't get sick from a sudden food
change.
Please, consider these cats as an addition to your family.
I
know they will bring you love and entertainment for a long time, and as much as
I wish I could keep them, my life has just changed to the point where I do not
think I will be (or have been) giving them the love and attention they
need.
I forgot to mention - ALL of these cats are GREAT with kids.
My two
year old is not as nice to them as he probably should be, but they are very
patient and tolerant of him.
