Ad #645940 - 2 Double Pedigreed Himalayan Babies, Ready 8/31/08!!
Welcome to Sugar On Top Cattery!! We breed Flame Point and Cream Point Himalayans. (PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES BELOW THE AD, AD DOUBLE CLICK EACH ONE FOR A CLOSE UP VIEW!)All of our kitties are double pedigreed, and come with both sets of registration papers! My queen Latte has one boy ("Cake")and one girl ("Zero" because of her tiny size)available, who will both be ready at the end of August at the price of $395!!Also my queen Cotton has one baby boy left from her 4/12/08 litter, named Yetti! Yetti is ready to go now at the reduced price of $300! I originally reduced my prices from $595 to $395, then to $300, due to the horrible economy we are all enduring! However, I am now willing to take the best offers (within reason)I can get for Yetti, as he is 4 weeks past his ready date, and I must sell!Okay for those of you in hurry here are the basics, (before emailing me any questions, please read the fine-details about myself, my family, my cattery, and the Himalayan breed down below)All of my babies come with their first round of shots, and a health certificate, both performed by a licensed vetrinarian, as well as both sets of registration papers, and a spay/neuter contract provided by myself. Please take your time viewing the pictures below, which can also be enlarged by double clicking each one. These are not pictures of this current litter, but rather a collection of pictures of my past litters at various ages, so that you can see how they look at various ages! However, as you can see all of my babies are practically twins, so if you like the babies in the pictures, you will love them in person! I am currently accepting non-refundable deposits of $200 on Latte's babies (who will be ready in late August) which can be made in one of two ways 1: Come on down and see the babies, pick one out for yourself, and make a deposit in person, with the balance to be paid at time of pick-up! 2: If you do not have time to do this or are out of state, I can send you several pictures via email, for you to choose from keeping in mind that all of my babies are almost identical twins! If you decide you would like one, you can either mail me a deposit, or make one via PayPal, with the balance to be paid in full at time of pick-up! For those out of state, I DO NOT SHIP! However, you will find that a round trip flight in and out of Logan Airport is usually cheaper than the $250-$300 shipping costs, and I can then meet you right at your gate, where we can exchange $$, papers, the certified flight acclimation certificate from my vet for the airlines, and of course the kitty! You would of course provide your own carrier to go home with and the kitty would ride right under your plane seat home with you! It is fast and simple, and I am willing to do this at no extra charge! My contact info is as follows: 1: Respond to this ad 2: Email me direct at Email Me Here 3: Call me anytime at (781)510-1850 and please leave me a message if I do not answer! No matter which method you use PLEASE ALLOW at least 24 hours for a response!
Okay, so here is a little more about us here at Sugar On Top~ We are a very small and private cattery, with only two queens and one stud. We hav ebeen breeding for five years with a total of 11 litters! All of my babies AND my breeding kitties are raised underfoot in my home with myself, my 9 year old daughter Trinity, and my husband Jason. My first Queen's name is Cotton, and she is a cream-point, next Queen is Latte and she is a flame-point, and last but not least is my stud Bo who is a flame point also.
If you are interested in some useful tidbits about the Himalayan breed, the Himalayan, is also called a colorpoint Persian and colloquially referred to as Himmy, and is a breed of cat with extremely long, fluffy fur, and the blue eyes and the points of a Siamese. Himalayan is the American term, while in Europe they are referred to as colorpoint Persians.
They were bred from Siamese (for the markings) and Persians (for coat-length and temperament), and share the characteristics of both breeds. Himalayans are now considered the same breed for cat registries (CFA), (TICA) as the modern Persian show cat since they have the exact same conformation with a pointed coat.
The body of a Himalayan is always all white or all cream, but their points come in many different colors: blue, brown, lilac, chocolate, flame, red and cream. The points can also be tabby or tortoiseshell-patterned. These cats are sweet-tempered, intelligent and generally very social and good companions. Because of their heritage from the Siamese cats they tend to be more active than ordinary Persians. They are more prone to hairballs like many long-haired cats, and therefore Himalayans need to be brushed daily to keep down the hairballs and to keep their coats looking their best and healthiest. In addition, they may need their face wiped daily, depending on the cat.
