Ad #655078 - rare! cb hatchling florida mud snakes for sale
I have some very unusual baby snakes for sale. They are CB hatchling Florida locality Mud Snakes, (You can see photos of mom in the first three shots) and are just lovely little snakes. This species never bites, does not get huge, (mom is about 4') and the only reason you do not see them regularly available is the wild caught ones are diet specialists, and prefer eels and salamanders to regular fish, and it takes a long time to get them to acclimate to captivity.
CB hatchlings do not have such hang ups. As you can see from the photos, they are one of the most strikingly marked of all North American snakes.
They are fish eaters, and can be fed small rosy reds and guppies. As they get older, they eat bigger fish. They require semi aquatic housing, and a 20 gallon aquarium thats half land and half water for them to soak and swim in would do just fine for an adult. I have 9 hatchlings available.
They are 25.00 each, and I will cut them back to 20.00 each if you take 5 or more of them. (Even freshly wild captured adults go for $60.00 and up!) These lovely snakes are hard to find, so act fast!
