Our Ragapers are generally not the type of cat that you will find on top of your refrigerator or climbing your drapes. Rather, they are far more likely to remain on the ground or on their human's bed. They tend to be interactive and will follow you around the house. You may be surprised at how willingly they answer to their name and at how quickly they will jump into your lap. They are usually very tolerant of children. Because of their trusting nature and their basic assumption that all other animals and humans are wonderful, our Ragapers will be placed only with individuals who are looking for an indoor cat. They do not anticipate danger as a feral cat does so they should remain inside.... with you!.
Canada's Cats Ragapers adults were chosen for their smaller stature in order to produce smaller kittens. A typical Ragaper can easily reach 20 lbs. Our goal is to produce kittens that will finish at around 5-6 lbs. Because we are not using mutations to reduce size, the health of our kittens is not compromised. Because of their genetic background, some of our kittens will be larger or smaller. We also produce "gentle giants".
