Ad #670382 - Serengetti Kittens (Bengal/Siamese Cross!!)
We are going to have a litter of Bengal/Siamese cross kittens the beginning of December.
This type of cross is called the Serengetti, it's a new breed being worked on that is still experimental. This was originally how the "Snow lynx point Bengal" was produced.
The reason we decided to do this breeding was not neccessarily our choice...our female Siamese "China" is a beautiful blue cream point Applehead Siamese. She has been placed with our Siamese stud for the past 6 months, and would not allow him to breed her despite her being in heat and willing. I tried an experiment to see if she was just being "picky" about the father of her children, and placed her in with our Bengal stud...sure enough, she was very cooperative! We are hoping she will now get back on track, and next time around accept our Siamese stud.
For now we are expecting a litter of Siamese/Bengal cross kittens. The kittens will likely be spotted, in blue, brown, and possibly seal lynx snow spotted.
Kittens will have super sweet, super intelligent, dog like personalities and will be VERY large! Probably hitting 15 lbs as adults.
