I have two ferrets that I rescued back in Dec 07. One female sable, and one male silver & white. Both are approximately 1.5 yrs old (both born in April 07). They were rescued from a kid who bought them and couldn't give them the proper housing & food they needed. They are extremely healthy, have been seen by an exotics vet in Wellington and are super playful. They live in a huge cage, Ferret Nation 142, and have TONS of toys, hides, hammocks, etc...Adoption fee of $200 (or $100 for just the ferrets) includes everything you will need for them, including a bag of food, water bottle, food bowl (that attaches to the cage so it cannot be tipped over) harnesses & leashes for both, cage, toys, blankets, Ferretone, Ferretlax, shampoo, treats, litter pans. I have well over $600 invested in this (not including ferrets - they were rescues.) The only thing you will need is a loving home and nail clippers (sorry I use the same pair for my cat!) It really breaks my heart to rehome them, but I'm moving and need to downsize. Horrible excuse, I know, but I have no choice. Please email me for more pictures and info.
Ferret experience not required, but you MUST prove that you know how to care for them properly, as these are not a cheap pet. Please, only mature adults need to contact me. Veterinarian reference required.
PS. Since the cage is so large, I can drive it to you (I drive a truck) if you'll throw me a couple bucks for gas! Also, the pic of the cage is from the night I bought it...there's TONS more stuff in there now, just have to have my camera fixed to get more pictures.
