1987 Porsche 944 converted to Turbo “Sleeper." Guards red/black leather. Turbo Converted by Black Forest in San Diego –01.
Engine:
90k miles on –87 944T 2.5l engine, fresh K26-6 Turbo for fast spool up. Wide band O2 sensor with Huntley Racing mixture display. Stock MAF with cone filter, stock air box included, stock intercooler, the big oil cooler. Adjustable boost with latest revision Turbonetics Delta waste gate. Huntley Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Freshly rebuilt head with new front seals and head gasket. New belts, rollers, 951 water pump, 951 radiator. So it’s a mild set up and makes 240 to 280 rear wheel HP depending on boost.
All AC components removed except compressor. AC parts included. 3000Lb curb weight.
Suspension:
Front. Paragon adjustable ride height coil over kit, 400Lb springs, adjustable Koni shocks, Weltmeister adj.sway bar. Rear. Stock torsion bars plus lowered 60Lb helper springs with adj Konis, 968 MO30 sway bar. Weltmeister 21mm spacers all around.
Transmission :
Newly installed fully rebuilt 951 LSD transaxel, with oil cooler. Centerforce clutch with 20k miles on. Rebuilt CV joints.
Brakes:
-87Turbo front calipers with brand new rotors, stainless lines all around. Re-built booster. New master cylinder. Stock NA rear brakes with new rotors. Pagid blue front, orange rear pads. Disabled ABS.
Interior:
In very good shape. Everything works.
Exhaust:
3” Straight test pipe with glass pack. 2’nd stock exhaust with cat. and muffler included. No issues with smog.
Wheels:
17” Boxter twist rims, 9’s with brand new RE750 255/40’s in the rear and 7.5’s with brand new RE750 225/45’s in the front. Extra set of 17” by 9” Boxter rims with 255/40’s Khumo Victorracers all around, good for auto crossing.
Stereo:
Sencor AM/FM CD , I2Go MP3 Compact Flash player, JBL P-2510 375 Watt Power amplifier, 8” Bazooka Subwoofer. PL-259 Antenna mount with RG-58 coax cable.
Additional equipment for auto crossing:
5 point seat belts (Driver and passenger) with harness bar and The suspension was set up by Black Forest. The conversion and lately the maintenance was made by Chris Chaffer at Black Forest later MindOverMotorSports.
