The Ragdoll is strictly an indoor cat. Their gentle, trusting nature would make the outdoors an extremely dangerous place for them. They don't tend to have the instinct to protect themselves or flee from danger or the street smarts to avoid cars.
They are normally very social and want to be involved with whatever activity is taking place in the home. They love to romp around the house, and will play fetch and follow you like a puppy!
