An evening of classical vocal music ,a tribute to Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khansahib on the occasion of his 107th birth anniversary.The programme will feature a solo vocal classical recital by Kumar Mukherjee,the last and favourite "shagird"(disciple)of late Ustad Munawar Ali Khansahib.
Kumar, is one of the leading exponents of the Kasur-Patiala style .He will perform Khayals and thumris and will be accompanied on the harmonium and tabla by Mehmood Dhaulpuri and Chiranjeet Mukherjee respectively.He will be provided vocal support by his disciple,Pratik Chakraborty.
