The company used more silver than was standard for the time and known for this upper class silver holloware.The company was consolidated with Rogers, Smith & Co., October 1, 1861 because of financial difficulties.There is a small portion of the base missing, a few dents and dings, but in great shape for a piece that is over 150 years of age.
