This is a very nice complete set of Audels, 4 volumes copyright in 1923 39, & 45, reprinted in 1947. One of my favorite reference book sets for information on building and carpentry techniques from the 1940's. The 1st volume is very good for information on tools of that days and how to care for them. Each book is 5" x 6.5" has a black leather like look, pressed cloth exterior highlighted with gold gilt spine lettering. I see book 1 has 1 rip on inside cover, book 2 has a loose binding, book 3 has 2 torn pages and book 4 is in excellent condition. Outer covers are nearly perfect, pages are clean and white inside. Page edges are red and good condition. Overall good condition.
A nice set of books covering tools, steel square, joinery, furniture, math, drawings, estimating, house and roof framing, layout, foundations, doors, windows, stair building, millwork, painting, etc. Lots of good information!
