This gold tone cross pin is a replica of one once owned by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The original was sold at the Sotheby's auction of the former First Lady's possessions held in New York in April 1996.
The original pin, designed by Christian Lacroix is featured on page 353 of the Sotheby's catalog, along with a picture of Mrs. Onassis wearing it. It was a part of item #540 along with a necklace. We have a replica of the pin only, not the necklace.
All of the jewelry we offer is from estate sales so there is some wear to them. This one is in good condition, although there is some light surface wear. The pin is tight.
