I have a great offer for anyone who would like to adopt two Iguanas and a large habitat. Both ig's are in great health, eat well and love to run around and play in their enclosure. The Red Iguana is very rare and is 9 months old, the Green Iguana is 6 months old. I bought my Red Iguana for $135.00 from a breeder in South Florida and I purchased the Green Iguana for $40.00 from a local breeder here in North Texas. I actually built the enclosure myself. The actual dimensions is 6' Tall x 6' Long x 2' Wide. I used pressure treated 2"x4"s and 3/8" plywood. They're habitat includes 4 levels. Top first level has branches and limbs for climbing around on and basking in the heat lamps. The second level is a flat plywood platform with the food dish, a mini-Iguana pool for them to swim around in and a little house for them to crawl into. The third level is a flat platform as well, with fake leaves for them to hide behind for when they want to hide or just take a nap. The bottom of the enclosure is space for them to climb down to in order to cool down and lower their body temperature. (This is normal in their natural habitats in the jungles of El Salvador) The entire cage opens completely by opening the big 'French Doors' in front. These doors have latches and close securely. The setup comes with 4 lamps total. Two of the lamps have UVB/UVA light bulbs and provide the Iguanas with artificial sunlight(VERY IMPORTANT) The other two lamps are Heat Lamps that they 'bask' in during the day time (This is also very important, as it allows them to raise their body temperature to 96 degrees) The total cost of building the cage and purchasing the lamps and light bulbs was over $225.00. I am asking $350 for EVERYTHING. If you already have a habitat suited for Iguanas, then you can just get the two Iguanas.(for just a re-homing fee of $160) ...prices can be negotiated... I am being forced to give my babies(iguanas) up for adoption and sell the cage because the landlord of my townhome has informed me that I either "GET RID OF THEM OR GET OUT!" I hope to hear from serious and responsible people only!! Please feel free to call my cell number at 972-795-1551. or shoot me an email at
