Ezra is a year old today. He was born 7/3/08, a big snuggle bug. He loves to be held and rubbed on his belly and lain on his back. But he also loves to run free, happily, if not lazily hopping around and looking at everything.
Shrek will be a year old in four days, born 7/7/08. He's a little bit smaller than his cage mate, but no less snuggly. He prefers to have the back of his head scratched and his head rubbed. Like his best friend he likes his freedom, and enjoys the occasional romp around on the floor.
Both boys are large and healthy, with good appetites. They have been fed mazuri chinchilla feed since they started eating. They are very friendly with other chins and people, have no fear of big dogs or cats and love to roll around in their dust bath three times a week. They also love to snatch treats from your fingers.
If someone is looking for a good pet , these boys have excellent temperaments, my two year old nephew can hold them and carry them around the house. I have procrastinated finding them homes for many months now, so I am in no hurry, but should the right person desire a sweet loving chinchilla as a pet feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
