ARE YOU LOOKING TO BREAK INTO MUSIC JOURNALISM?

Then you need to answer these questions:

1-Have you ever dreamed of writing or editing a music magazine or website?

2-Have you already experienced the Catch-22 that makes it impossible to get work as a writer because you don’t have experience and you cant get experience because nobody will hire you?

3-Do you have experience writing for a college newspaper? Or any writing experience at all?

4-Are you looking for experience, exposure, and most important…OPPORTUNITY?

5-Are you serious about what you do? Do you meet deadlines well?

6-Do you love music?

If you answered yes to the above questions then I suggest you contact us.

Our music public relations company is creating a series of nationally distributed music online newspaper and magazine style websites. These sites will feature news and information on both national and local bands and artists.

We are looking for a select group of aspiring, hard working writers to submit articles on a regular basis. You will gain valuable work experience while garnering national exposure for your work. We won't be in a recession forever. And when we come out of it the people who have proven track records will be the first ones hired. Experience matters and these writing and editing positions will be amazing resume builders.

Building a web division in this economy is a bold move and we need bold people to join us.

As a writer/reporter you will be given assignments ranging from cover stories for national and local bands from across the nation. Concert and CD reviews. Compiling listings of music events. Photographing concerts and shows. And lots more.

As an Editor/Coordinator you will be asked to manage a group of writers and coordinate their work.

The office will be virtual and we will conduct our business with you via email and phone calls.

The compensation for doing this is:

1-Experience

2-Exposure

3-Opportunity

4-Connections

If you are currently a paid freelance or staff writer then this probably isn’t for you. The creative people we are looking for need to have the mentality of an intern or a college reporter.

Finally please keep in mind that everything we do is tied into a national drunk driving awareness program. So as you help yourself you will also help others.

This is an amazing opportunity for people who love writing about music and need to create their first break. If this sounds like you then contact us immediately. Please e-mail us at Email Me Here indicating where you live and where you found this ad.
