This giant flute is a magnificent flute that I made (I had to force my self to post this flute one here :p) because of it's beautiful carvings, length, and peaceful melodies it plays. It is 27" long and is made from Giant reed (Arundo Donax). I cut it into it's original size, hole poke it with a red hot iron, hold it over a open fire to blacken the surface, handcarve it and then finish it with polyurathane to protect the carvings. I finished creating this flute on July 21, 2009 It's quite a hard fllute to play, because I modified it to be played like a persian ney, so before you think about buying this you should buy one of my other flutes first which are smaller and better to practice with. I currently have 6 more in stock. BTW you are getting a great deal, if you look around you'll find these flutes are over $100.
