This is an absolutely gorgeous flute. It is 15 1/2 inches long and It is made from Giant Reed (Arundo Donax). It is cut into its original flute size, hole poked, held over a open fire to blacken the surface, handcarved (NO machine involved), then coded with polyurathane to keep it shining and to keep it from getting damaged if got wet. This chinese flute can play enchanting chinese songs, you're not going to find any other flute like this very often. I completed this flute on July 18, 2009.
