I only keep 1 pair of canaries as a hobby for enjoyment, meaning I don't just toss my canaries some seed, this bird has been raised on premium seed/pellets, greens, egg/eggfood, and other treats on a regular basis. This is the first 2009 closed banded yellow canary they had 2 months ago, this season. I am pretty sure it is male, I saw and heard it singing the other day, and the father has an awesome song. Nice healthy pet canary if you are looking for that.
